Hey guys!!!
Summer's 'bout over!!! Let's get a jump on the holidays and blow our friends and families away at Thanksgiving.
I love the idea of the Thanksgiving meal being a reward for achieving my fitness goals!!! Guilt free pumpkin pie!!!
My present goal (and i just started) is to loose just over 2 pounds a week, 30 pounds by November 25th 2010.
I need some help, encouragement, and FRIENDS!!! Let's support each other and celebrate in 3 months!!! (Im scared haha!!!)

Just a bit of cautious advice - I don't like to use food as a reward. Part of the reason I got big is because I would "reward" myself or "celebrate" using food. It seems a bit counter productive.
Good luck on your journey!0 -
Hi, i have the same 2lb/wk goal and im heading towards a skinnier christmas.
17 wks 'til chrsimas and at 2lb/wk we can be 34lb lighter.
We can totally do it!0 -
Guiltless pumpkin pie would be great. I'm trying for 2lbs a week I have a cruise in April and would love to look good in a bathing suit for the first time in many years..0

I am in too! I start Power 90 next week once i finish my current program So should def be able to get 30lbs down by thanksgiving!0

Hey "Thekit" that's good feedback, appreciate the heads up.
I totally agree with you! Eating as a reward, to cope, cause we're bored, etc. can get us in trouble!!! Like 30 pounds overweight trouble haha. (Feels convicted) ...
In the midst of exersizing and eating better, Im gonna try and do some mental and emotional work as well. OMG that "onion" has a lot of layers!!!

If you peel back the layers one at a time instead of cutting thru you save a lot of tears.0

Can I join if I want to lose 15 by Thanksgiving?? I already lost 27 and would LOVE to be down 40+ by Thanksgiving. I want to make my goal a little lower because I am sure I will plateau at some point. Also, my 10 year reunion is the weekend of Thanksgiving. Talk about motivation! Good luck to all!0

Most definitely you can join!!! It's a lifestyle change anyways right? Not a diet ... So I hear lol... Yay for more encouraging people along the way!0
