I have been dieting and walking when I have a chance but trying to maintain recommended calorie intake as generated by MFP however I have been noticing that my Protein:drinker: intake is always more than recommended on a daily basis and Irarely come with half way of filling my rec carbs. My diary is open last week is not a accurate overview because of holidays but weeks prior are pretty typical. First will taking in more protein than carbs limit my weight loss...Also considering that my kidney functions are normal and I have no ongoing health issues is my protein intake harmful to my health at the levels I am taking in? Any insight will be greatly appreciated I have no idea about macro nutrition but is getting to the point where I would like to learn. :drinker:

Only looked at a few days worth of entries, but your protein intake is fine. It is not exceptionally high. I shoot for 125 g per day, which is also not exceptionally high, and you are below that amount.0

I clicked through more than 2 weeks of your diary (begining of Dec) and didn't see one day where your protein is greater than your carb intake. I don't think your protein is too high. It looks ok.
I don't creep diaries too often, but it is always interesting to see how different people eat.0 -
Your protein in take on here is considered a bare minimum so dont get too worried about it
As for SJP 511....Some one actually posted I believe in the general weight loss forum to lurk at others diaries. Mine is open cuz of a few groups that Im in but I dont understand why others would want to lurk at others diaries. Granted we all like to try out new recipes but its not hard to search on their own for things to eat0 -

Is ur bday 3/1/82? Im 3/2/820 -
I treat MFP's protein & fiber goals as minimums. I ignore fat & carbs. But if you ask 100 MFPers, you'll get 100 different opinions.
It will take trial & error to find what works for you.0 -
MFP's macro settings are only 15% for protein which is pretty low protein intake. I try to get in about 1 gram per Lb of LBM which means I'm usually around 145 grams daily.0

^^ Yeah. MFP has its head up its *kitten* when it comes to protein.0
