What can you do when someone you care about enters complete "I could care less" mode about themselves?

    Accept that they are not currently capable of much more emotionally. It has to be the right time for them, not you.

    "Not caring" is their way of coping with their own hurt about the situation.

    Be a friend and hopefully they may ask for your support some day.
