Introduction - Start of Something New

Hi all,
I've been using the MFP app on my iPhone and desktop for a little more than a month. Right before Thanksgiving, I decided I'd done too much wishing I could lose some weight and not enough losing. I'm a 39M weighing 230 lbs. and am 5"10'. I'd like to shoot, initially, for 190 lbs. Mostly I'm working on a calorie deficit to lose weight, but also doing some bodyweight fitness stuff. The largest difficulty for me is time to exercise. I hate getting up early, but I work 2 jobs and we only have one vehicle, so getting to the gym is a challenge (hence the bodyweight stuff). So I've been working on getting up at 6am instead of 7:30am. In November I began getting up and doing stretches. In December I added the bodyweight simple routine from the Reddit /r/bodyweight sudreddit. I am still doing that and having a crazy hard time doing any level of L-sit. Recently, I started adding in some walking to the routine. I got a Fitbit Zip yesterday and am excited to see what it tells me about my routines. The best motivation anyone can give me is encouragement getting up early to work out. I need it.
