Do you think detox is necessary? Why or why not? If you do how often? What detox Method/ recipe do you do?

I did a detox for uric acid and crystals after having a major Gout attack. Yes for me.

    No, it is not necessary.

    1. No toxins to be removed that eating and drinking normally cannot remove.
    2. Marketing ploy to get people to spend $$$ on 'detoxes' or 'cleanses'.

If u are coming off of drugs or have a medical condition that requires it then NOOOOO!!!!!. Our bodies detoxifies it self on its own thru urination and bowel movments

If it's a cupcake detox, then yes. Cause I need like 6 cupcakes STAT!
  • Did you ingest poison?

In that case OP should ingest activated charcoal.

So your thread is to find out if others are doing them correct? Not to find out answers if you should do them right

Because people want quick answers to their weight loss which usually result in a weight gain plus of whatever they lost.....It took me over 6 weeks to lose any weight and I was losing patience but I didnt give up I just kept on going and finally started to see where I can tweak things and found out what worked for me

If you aren't an alcoholic or drug addict, and you don't have pre-existing conditions regarding the ability of your liver, you don't need to detox. maybe cut back the ****ty food, but 'detox', no.

Wow, then the OP will be puking and pooping black stuff for days, and she'll have a bad tummy ache, too. EEW!

I know! It's great for both getting poisons out of your body and weight-loss!
