Last year I ran my first marathon... And after having so much fun, I ran another one 7 weeks after that. They were great tests and showed me how awesome my body was after hating it for years. After a few 3 mile runs after the second marathon, I discovered my feet hurt after bending the arch to take a step.

Went to a sports doctor. After x-rays and a few tests, I was told not to run until spring and ordered to get custom inserts.

Today, a little over a month after that, I am still trying to keep healthy by being on the stationary bike three to four times a week (about 45 minutes each time.) As you can figure, it can be a bit.. Boring... after awhile. However, after jumping on the scale and seeing 10 pounds gained from Thanksgiving-Christmas time, it's made me push through that and jump back on.

I am looking for people to help motivate me (and I of course would return the favor.) I'd also like to get back into the basics of strength training... So encouragement and tips would be awesome there as well.

Here's to a healthy New Year.
