From what I've read is that you don't necessarily gain muscle weight that quick, however, your body can retain water to repair the muscle.

Stay off the scale, use the mirror and the way clothes are fitting you. Water weight can fluctuate so much it can really mess with your head.

I hold around 15-20lbs of water weight..imagine how I feel

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I'm going to keep at it, keep my calories at 1500 and incorporate more cardio.

You already cardio 6 times a week, there's no need for anymore.

Just track your calories as accurately as you can.

I can put on 6+lbs from lifting in 24hrs, so ya, it's water weight. Should be gone in a week or two.

My clothes fit loser. I actually look like I'm more toned. I've been receiving compliments. I'm not sure what's going on with my body. Would my menstrual cycle effect weight loss?

If your clothes are looser and you look better what do you care what the scale says? Isn't getting a better body composition the end goal?

    This is exactly right.

Unless you have Celiacs or a gluten intolerance, you will experience no benefit from cutting wheat or any other grains out of your diet.

I would suggest to get down to the weight level you want and than do weights. In other words just do cardio.
Ohhh ohhh I hope "they" didnt read this...:frown:
    I'm awfully afraid "we" did.

Good luck with that decreasing muscle mass. Enjoy eating ever fewer calories to maintain the same weight and your increased risk of osteoporosis. :drinker:

their are other grains that you can eat other then wheat that are alot more beneficial for your health and digestive system , flax for example and quinoa, buckwheat, etc. it does help with bloat and belly fat , I'm not saying cut it out completely but youd be surprised if you had food testing done how many people are actually allergic to gluten,
