So I'm confused on how much sugar I should be eating each day. I log everything on here. I'm not eating sweets, just fruit. Is that a bad thing when it comes to sugar?

I am dealing with this now. For the last 6 weeks I have only lost one pound. Looking at my food diary for the last 6 weeks and the one thing that has been a constant factor is fruit I have been having 1 cup serving size of all kinds of friut with two meals an a snack. Sometimes more. That sugar that comes from fruit can be a bad thing. I have stayed under my calories and I work out a lot, so the only thing I have to believe is its sugar from fruit.
Starting yesterday I am not eating it and I will see what happens.0 -
If you go to the message boards and so a search for the topic of sugar you will find many different threads.
Peoples opinion vary wildly on this topic.
I agree with the first poster - if it's coming from fruit and not processed sugar - you should be fine - IN MODERATION.
I have fruit every day and it hasn't been an issue for me.
It's all what works for you.
If you find you lose while eating fruit - eat fruit
If you find that you don't lose weight, try getting your fruits and veggies servings more from vegies and see if you lose.
Good luck.
