1205 in 2012; 1373 in 2013. Goal for 2014 is 1500.0
-
1010 was my final number, with the last 500 coming from September-on. That was 1008.5 more than what I did last year (a 1.5mi Air Force fitness test). So yeah, a bit more
2014 goal is a modest 1500+ with about 130/mo. Some months will be higher, and others lower. I have triathlon season starting after my spring HMs are done, then doing my FMs in the fall. I'm trying to sequence these things a little better0 -
369.08 miles since I got my own Garmin in July, so could easily have started out in San Antonio and ran (ve-ery slowly) to Marathon and beyond!
some before that on someone else's, and some without, when I didn't know I would be interested in keeping records
are we going to add them all together and admire our group total?0 -
or I could have run from my house to Maastricht0
-
I wish I had kept track! I guess I need to start for this year.0

Didn't see it posted yet
What was your yearly mileage? Was it better than last year?
Not sure to be honest. My goals however really are to improve my running times than increase mileage. Increasing mileage would not necessarily be good as it may increase burnout chances.0 -
2012 - about 7miles (didn't run)
2013 - 620ish miles (601.3 recorded but few more not recorded due to dodgy watch)
2014 - planned on aiming for 1000miles but due to shoulder surgery I'll be out for 4-6months.
Only started running properly January 20130 -
Only 422 miles in 2013...but in my defence I spent a lot of time weight training for leg strength so I could run more without pain.
As I'm training for a marathon in May, I should rip that to pieces after 5 months...0 -
I did 658 miles this year. My goal was 600,so I was pretty excited. I had run 452 the year before. My new goal is 780. I might readjust it higher later.0

well considering i picked running back up on June 30th... i logged 1000 for the year end. soo not too shabby in my book. this year im aiming for 2250!!!0
-
Note to self: *keep better track in 2014*. I do know it was just over 1,000. I did run my first half marathon in 2013 and damn proud about that! :happy:0
-
I never count my miles. I get my training in, but dont keep a running count. I couldn't tell you much other than the 5 halfs, one full, 10 miler, and several 5ks.0

From March until December 31st - I walked/ran 1609 miles!0
-
This was my first year of running consistently I started tracking my miles in February and I ran 345. My mileage really started increasing in September.0
-
1722 total miles in 2013, 1513 of them strictly running.
I didn't start logging until August 2012, but what I did log was only around 350 or so miles, so this was a huge difference!
My goal for 2014 is 2000 total miles, which doesn't necessarily include just running (I also hike a lot in the summer, and do a small amount of biking, so I count those too, but the majority will be running).0 -
2012: 0 miles
2013: 904 miles ran/walked/biked (95% ran or walked)
Shooting for 1000 miles ran/walked in 2014.0 -
I really wish I knew I was going to love running so much when I started in March of 2013. I didn't log any of my runs for the first probably 4 months.
Got a Garmin for Christmas so now I'll keep really good track!0 -
I hit 500. Compared to a lot of you, that's nothing.
I've been running sporadically for basically my entire life, and this is the first time I've really decided I wanted to stick with it. However, I spent the summer out of the country and ran maybe 30 miles between June and August.
However, throwing walking and hiking in there, probably upwards of 3000.
Goal for 2014 is 1000.0 -

Increasing mileage is the most commonly accepted method for a sustainable increase in pace over time.0 -
2012, no idea. But I do know it wasn't as much as 2013.
2013:
84.95 miles hiking
528.35 miles cycling
730.75 miles running

65# x5 overhead pressed
95# x5 bench pressed (thanks to my sneaky trainer)
155# x8 deadlifted
165# x11 squated0
