Wanting to lose weight and make a lifestyle change

I am about to be 32 this weekend and I am 100 pounds over weight. I want to lose 8 pounds a month and I hope to be close to my goal weight by Dec 20, 2014, this is when I graduate with my bachelors. I fell like I should be able to accomplish anything if I have my mind set to do so. I know I may have minor setbacks because I am an emotional eater. I have PCOS and I diabetic if anyone has advice on these health issues please share. Thanks...
