Need some motivation? Look at the great accomplishments of those below!
Fauja Singh was the first 100-year-old to ever run a marathon. Due to a birth defect he could not walk until the age of five. He did not run his first marathon until the age of 89:

At the age of 92, Gladys Burrill has been officially named the oldest female marathon finisher. She did not run her first marathon until the age of 86:

If you think you are too big to start running think again. Kelly Gneiting (400lb sumo wrestler) set a Guinness World Record for the heaviest person to complete a marathon:

Tim Hurst has a goal of running a marathon in all 50 states, with one leg:

Paralyzed from the waist down, Tatyana McFadden becomes the first ever marathon Grand Slam winner:

I am not recommending anyone get off the couch and run a marathon tomorrow with no training. Discuss your fitness goals with your doctor and build your distance up gradually. If you are new to running, the C25k program is a great start:

If you are already a runner and want to start increasing distance check out this group:

Have fun and good luck!

This article was in the Parade Magazine last weekend. Olga started running the "Masters" track division at 77 years old and is still going strong and breaking records at 94! Gotta love it!
