Starting it all over again!
In 2011 I weighed about 220-225lbs, and started running, and kept at it. Over the course of that year I ran my first mile, 5k, 10k, and half-marathon.
In 2012, there were some major life changes that happened, but I kept at it, ran two half marathons and placed 2nd in my age division of a 10k.
In 2013, I ran 3 half-marathons, PR'd the last one with a 9:51mpm (yeah, I'm slow), and finally trained for and ran my first Marathon. My weight was down to about 169lbs.
After the marathon in September I took a couple weeks off, then had a planned surgical procedure that took about a month to heal up.
Problem was, after that I wasn't motivated to really do much of anything, and I was getting REALLY bad headaches when working out, so it was a bit un-motivating to keep at it.
Became quite sedentary, and my weight ballooned back up to 190 (still a far cry from where I was, but I saw the writing on the wall), and my clothes started to not fit. I threw out all my old clothing for this very reason. I can't afford to get back to that weight!
So Monday I started to spend some quality time with Shaun T and Insanity, because, why not? I actually get to do that while I work, so it's nice. Shaun T isn't nice, but being able to do it at work is.
Don't this at night, and Focus T25 with my fiance during the day should help me get back on track and lose the weight I've gained back.
Logging my food probably will happen off and on. I really don't know what's in half the stuff my fiance cooks...I just know it's good and I could eat it all day. Thankfully, since she's getting back on the wagon too, she does and I can copy her diary. She knows the drill here, since here's where we met.
Once the weather gets warmer, I'm going to get back out there and run again...I hate the cold!
