Trying again for the 36th time

I feel like I have made commitments to live a healthier lifestyle hundreds of times before now, yet I am at the heaviest weight ever! It always seems to go well for a month but then I get complacent and old bad habits creep in again until I'm back to square one, so I have signed up here so that I can give myself some accountability. I have 50+ pounds to lose - I'm not overly concerned with the exact weight I finish on, I'd rather that it was whatever I feel healthy and able to sustain which I don't know for sure until I get there, but I know that it will be at least 50 pounds worth of weight.

I'd love some buddies, from the UK especially simply for time zones so that we will be online at similar times, but I'm happy to make friends with anyone really!

So a little about myself outside of weight loss... I am a 21 year old classical singer who will be studying music at university with a scholarship starting in September. In the meantime I teach singing at a local cathedral school and volunteer as a reading assistant at a different local primary school. I'm also teaching myself German (but making very slow progress... progress none the less!) and know a bit of French. As for TV, there aren't a great deal of things I watch regularly... BBC Sherlock, The Walking Dead and Under the Dome alongside a bit of comedy such 8 out of 10 cats or Live at the Apollo. I love reading but couldn't for the life of me tell you what my favourite book is right now!

If you'd like to know anything else just ask. I look forward to meeting you all on my weight loss journey!
