Looking for friends and support

Hi, I'm not new on this board but I've been away from it for awhile. I'm a 53 year old female and as usual, I've gained quite a bit of weight back over the holidays. Just so frustrated, but here I am giving it another go!
I've been yo-yo dieting for the last 9 years or so. I go on the low-carb diets, which work for me for awhile, and then eventually I gain it all back. For awhile now, my husband and I have been eating Mediterranean and we love it... doesn't feel like we are "dieting"... don't know why I used that word because I hate it... it's more like "living healthy"... most of the time!

I walked just 3 miles yesterday so that's a start, but today I'm going to do one of my "boot camp" tapes that should work up a sweat!

I'm going for 1200 calories per day and trying to exercise 1 hour per day, 6 days per week. I'm doing pilates, cardio, hand weights, bands, strength training using my own body weight, etc. I switch it up and briskly walk one day and do weights and stretch, and then do a tape the next day, etc.

I live on the east coast of the US. I'm hoping to find some friends so we can support and encourage each other on this journey to get healthier!
