Egg White Question

Is there sodium in egg whites? I had 4 med sized egg whites only for breakfast....it says 200 in sodium line in my food diary?????

    Why wouldn't you just eat the entire egg? You skipped all the vitamins.

    And yes, egg whites have sodium. All food has sodium.
  • I have never been a yolk eater...I do on rare occasion eat scrambled and on a holiday eat deviled egg, but the texture of yolk gts my gag reflex going

    One large egg white has 55mg of sodium. A good website to check nutrients is:

    I wouldnt care about sodium unless you have hypertension or have been advised by your doctor to avoid it
