Newbie trying to gain weight and muscles.

Hi.
I am new to this site (registered) a few days ago.
I am a guy from Sweden, 34 years old.
Married and have two kids, 4 and 6 years old.

I have an goal, that in four months to be more fit and ready to enter an 8 km run with 40 obstacles called "toughest" (http://www.toughest.se/en/). My wife gave me an registration to the race in christmas gift ;-)

So, now my biggest challenge is acutally to eat a lot more to gain weight and transform it into muscles (with help of running, sqats, push ups, pullups and situps).
