Cal. intake question

So do you want your cal. intake number to always be green. The past two days it has been like 600+ left over for the day. I am consuming around 1500-1700 cals a day but I am nursing and exercising as well.

They say if you don't consume enough calories that you will begin to store fat. However, remember you are also burning calories when you are nursing. I'm no expert but I say that your calorie intake should be about 1500. Don't fret if you go in the red, you are doing a wonderful thing for your baby by nursing. Kudos for taking the time to exercise!!! I don't know how you do it! I recall feeling very drained when I nursed my children. ( Do count your daily hosehold tasks as part of exercise.)0
