Can changing up HIIT methods hurt you?

Does it matter what type of HIIT a person does? It sounds like a silly question, but I'm curious, I suppose. I do LISS cardio on my lifting days for 30-45 mins. With HIIT, I do it 2/3 times a week on the days I don't lift. I used the treadmill Tuesday alternating from 3bpm to 8bpm in 30 second intervals. Today I want to use kettlebells and follow an interesting circuit I found. I guess I'm asking if it's gonna hurt me in some way to switch up the types of HIIT every time I do it.

Changing up your HIIT can be good. It will stop you becoming bored by doing the same thing all the time. I prefer to do my HIIT on the rowing machine or spinning bike. In decent weather I may choose to go over the local football field and do it outside on the grass.

    Hope this helps =)
