Unless you have a medical condition that requires monitoring it, ignore sugar. I track fiber in its place. Since it's a carb, you already track it once ;)

If having the OJ is causing you to regularly go over your calorie goal or making it hard to get enough protein or fat, you may want to look at cutting back.

    Otherwise, what Phoenix_Warrior said.

    sugar is sugar..

does not matter if it comes from juicing, or candy.

Just maintain your calorie deficit and you will be good to go.
  • Ive no medical condition aside from being very over weight im just trying to make sure im not self sabotaging (sp?) myself with the O.J.

I don't track sugar and it hasn't affected my weight loss one bit. Track something more relevant like fiber.

Nope. Calories in vs out for weight loss. You can eat whatever you want within your calorie limit. Now, for health I would be conscious of protein, fiber, carbs and fat and find a decent balance. Proteins on mfp's recommendation are a bare minimum. Don't fret of you go over. :) Maybe take a read if you get a chance

I never understood the point of juicing. Why get rid of all that fiber? Eat the whole orange or throw the fruit into a smoothie. Much more filling. :)

I don't regularly juice - I'll make something once or twice in a month - but, for me, sometimes juice just hits the spot and I can fit it into my goals. Just like sometimes an apple or orange is called for.
