I need help deciding which one is best; Fitbit or Body Media? I would appreciate any feedback you can give if you have one. Thanks!

For me the data was about the same so the Fitbit works much better for my needs. I hated having the ugly, uncomfortable strap sensor thingy on my arm and paying a monthly fee for the Body Media, and having to pull it off and plug it in to see my stats.0

I don't know anything about the BodyMedia, but I have recently acquired a Fitbit Flex and I really like it. One of the things that I like most (besides it actually working) is that I can wear it all the time. It's unobtrusive and, since it is on my wrist, it won't fall out of my pocket or get dislodged from a waistband.0

I use a Fitbit One and it's done a huge amount to help me stay focused on my weight loss goals. Particularly on days when I can't work out, having the step counter helps me stay more active and prevents me from totally vegging out.
I like the One because it's not a wristband, which can be inaccurate. I usually wear it clipped to my bra or on the pocket of my pants.0 -
I've been using a fitbit for 7 months. I love it because it syncs my exercise calories with MFP and has an iPhone app and best of all there's no subscription cost like there was when I had a Bodybugg. I didn't like the Bodybugg because of the subscription cost and because of the unattractiveness of it.
I have the Fitbit Force now (wristband) and used the Fitbit One (clip on torso) for 5 months. I find the Force to be as accurate as the One, but I like it on my wrist because it reduces my of washing it, it's more convenient to check and it works as a watch as well.
God bless,

I had the bodybug and I now have the fitbit flex. I like the fitbit a lot better. I hated having to wear the arm band and having it show in nearly every outfit I wore. Also the monthly fee was annoying. The flex is a wristband but it just looks like a watch.0

Thanks! I had no idea the body bugg thing had a monthly subscription. Definitely don't want that then. Now I just need to decide between wearing it on my wrist or getting the waistband one. :-)0

I have the body media with blue tooth. It's nice and easy. You get used to the strap. I forget it's there sometimes. It's discreet under your shirt. The app is great. I use it for my workouts to make sure I burn a certain amt. I sync a few times a day esp before a meal to see if I can have something else at dinner. MFP works great with it too. I love it.0

I love my FitBit One - no way am I wearing a gigantic device on my arm. No monthly fee, discrete, keeps me motivated. Love it.0 -
I have a fitbit zip I have used since June that I love. I got one for my husband too.
Inexpensive. Great data. Integrates with MFP. Fits on waistband or bra. I don't need a sleep tracker and I don't need to measure stairs.0 -
I got the Fitbit Flex in July....found it seriously motivating. I really wanted the watch feature and in November got the Force. Love being able never forget to put it on & that at a button push I can see how many more steps I need to take.
Good luck with whatever Fitness gadget you end up with.0 -

I wear the one on my bra in the center, is very accurate there & super discreet.0

Looks like you already decided on fitbit but here's my input.
I started with Fitbit Ultra. Really liked it but it didn't have bluetooth. Switched to bodymedia but despite claims at being more accurate, it overstated my calorie burn (I ate what I burned for 6 weeks and gained weight) and the bulkiness annoyed me. I got asked about it all the time and had some very rude comments about it. I won a fitbit flex from my work and happily switched to it. I like it a lot, can forget about it but its always with me. It doesnt count some additional steps with vigorous arm movements but its not major.
I'd suggest FitBit One if you can remember to wear it and take it off your clothes before the wash. It is the most accurate.
I'd suggest FitBit Flex if you forget things or don't want to have to worry. Flex is good for people that do a lot of swimming as it is waterproof.
Not sure if FitBit Force is waterproof but that's the one I wish I had.0 -
