You know, the list of things you want to do, see, experience, feel, try, be... before you "kick the bucket".
I made one a year ago and it's interesting to see how much has changed. What a cool feeling to be able to put a checkmark by some of those babies!
Share some of your dreams and tap into inspiration!
Some of my remaining "to do's" -
Become a really great teacher
Make friends with our dogs
Eliminate debt
Become a philanthropist
Travel: - 50 states with no agenda… just to see the beauty
Learn photoshop
Advance / enhance my education
Tell a new story
Learn glassblowing, cutting, stained glass
Become fluent in American Sign Language
Spend a New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas
Witness a solar eclipse
Witness the Northern Lights
Climb a mountain
Grow a bonsai tree
Attend a bon dance
Live music at every opportunity, support local artists
Learn how to build a website
Study astrology
Learn graphology (handwriting analysis)
international travel
How bout you??

Hmm I haven't given this much thought. So just off the top of my head:
Hear I love you from a man and know that he really means it (preferably a man that I love back lol)
Learn how to play the drums
Make love (I've had sex lots, just never actually "made love" - big difference)
Run five miles without stopping - feeling the strength in my legs and the wind in my face
Learn a second language
Be a Mom
Be a Wife
Swim in the ocean
Swim with dolphins
See a whale in real life
See the pyramids
Tell my biological father that I forgive him and mean it
Be an inspiration to others
Write a book that is well received
Shock my family by showing up at a family reunion looking slim and sexy
Shock my ex-class mates by showing up to a class reunion looking slim and sexy
Shock my ex-boyfriend by running into him while looking slim and sexy lol
Be adored by someone other than me and God (preferably lots of someones heheh)

These are GREAT!! Thanks for sharing. Write these down somewhere and pull the list out in a year or so -you'll be so surprised to see what's happened.... for instance - you'll have run the 5 miles by then and will have been told how inspiring you are. And if it counts, I'm really starting to adore you.:flowerforyou:

These are great - and very inspiring. I'm going to be adding some things... I see! I especially like "take responsibility for everything I do and say" and 'never badmouth someone who doesn't deserve it". Pretty sure I've made a total fool of myself in front of a crowd of people but didn't see the value of it at the time.

Blakejohn - what are some of the best memories, most exciting / rewarding adventures you've checked off the list? Inquiring minds want to know!
Blossom - sounds great - a home in the mountains.... aaaah. Also, traveling internationally and speaking at women's conferences... wow. What sort of topics interest you?
Nutshel - once you get the good DL photo, figure out how to bribe the DMV to let you keep it on your license for the next 20 years.
Godblessourhome - good list - how much time left before 35 comes?
Biloxibelle - so inspiring.... especially the career change thing, but ALL of your list actually. Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. And yet, you've taken that situation and learned how to enrich your life in a wonderful way. What a gift.0 -

Thanks. I listed some fun things I've done & want to do, but really if I think about it the biggest change for me was a change in my daily attitude. I try to find joy & pleasure in the small things....a pretty sunset, a nice walk around the block w/the dogs, just looking out across a body of water, watching the birds at our bird feeders...life goes by really fast & I don't want to spend it being a negative, miserable person. Not that I was a total grinch before!!
Glad everyone shared their lists. Sometimes a bucket list is a nice thing to thing about. Hope everyone gets to do everything on their list one day!!0 -
Had a huge list. Have already completed the following:
Parachute
Cliff Dive
Bungee jump
Raced (Cars and Motorcycles)
Travelled the world.
I have really accomplished most of what I want to do. Only a couple more things.
Ride to Sturgis.
Retire
Watch my girls grow see how they come out.
Build my dream home and spend the rest of my life with my family near.0 -
Ride to Sturgis.
do you want to go for the rally? i grew up in lead/deadwood and hubby gre up in rapid city. now we are in colorado, and hubby and i went back for the rally two years ago. so crowded, but so much fun! the black hills are wonderful. i really hope you take the time to do this!0 -
I'm only 25 so this could get long lol.
- Go on a Honeymoon with my husband (we couldn't afford one last year, and both being military its hard to get time off together)
- Go to Japan
- Have kids (want 2)
- Deploy (scary, but would like the experience)
- Go up Pikes Peak
- Finish College (want Psychology/Counceling, I want to councel young girls/women)
- Visit more of the US (been to- Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisianna, Arkansas, Nevada, Washington, Alaska, New Mexico)
- Ride my husbands Harley with him (really scared of it, but he wants to take me for a ride)
- Make my family proud
I have a million other things too, but those are a few.0 -
GodBlessourHome - So.... roughly 1000 (give or take) days to cross em all off the list. Looks like you've got a good start. The timeline is probably a good idea -keeps things from drifting out too far ... and getting lost in the land of "someday". :flowerforyou:0
-
Blakejohn - alright, we get the picture. You've had some good fun! :blushing: Never too late to add anything to the list..... seeing Frida's place would be interesting. Curious - was your travel business related or personally directed? Travel is one of my big ones - trying to see how to realistically make it happen...
Biloxi - Such a good point! Appreciating the small things, realizing that the only things we can really control is our attitude and responses to experiences (instead of the experiences themselves) and living life happily. Ahhhh. That should actually be my ENTIRE list! I'm tempted to revise.:flowerforyou:
Road Dog - it's inspiring to see that you've done so much and your remaining goals reflect your values - home, family and fun. did I get that right? Any plans to do your Sturgis ride in the next 2 years?
Tater - What an eclectic list....!!! Courageous too - to look deployment in the face and choose to see it as an adventure and growth opportunity. About fear - it's always there as long as we're growing.....
Thanks everyone for sharing these lists! Helps me remember it's a huge wide world out there, and the biggest obstacles and limitations are really held in the mind...
Off to make my list for what to accomplish today.0 -
Blossom - sounds great - a home in the mountains.... aaaah. Also, traveling internationally and speaking at women's conferences... wow. What sort of topics interest you?
Ministry. Speaking word of wisdom and life into women’s hearts. Helping them find themselves and the hope that is within.0 -

Going in 3 years with several buddies. Going more for the ride than the destination. It's getting too commercial and expensive, but I just want to check it off my list.
I took a 2,700 mile trip last week and had a blast.0
