no luck with other posts, hopefully this one will get better feedback?
i'm 5'5 and 11 and a half stone, my goal weight would be 9 stone
if i aim to lose 2 pounds a week will i be able to reach my goal weight by june? the plan was to go to the gym at least 3 times a week and possibly a fourth on some weeks, and eat healthily by totally cutting out all the junk.
i really need a confidence boost and losing weight is the way to do so, how realistic is my goal?

Hi there!
I would say go for a 1lb a week loss, it's more realistic for someone of your size, as you don't have too much to lose. If you do lose more per week well that's a bonus.
Also, if you workout your body will get into a better shape, you will look leaner! Don't forget to drink lots of water, it does you so much good in more ways than I realised before I started on here.

You can lose weight that way, it may be hard to maintain though. I know I couldn't live my life never eating "junk" food. I found that by removing the labels of good food or bad food and giving myself permission to eat what I wanted I no longer struggled with cravings or binging. By eating at a small deficit and being patient I have been able to lose some weight and have shifted my focus from weight loss to health. Moderation is not as exciting as severely restricting and seeing those big weight loss numbers on the scale but it has kept me mentally stable. I don't feel like I'm on a diet. I'm just living my life and eating like a normal person.0
