But I just wanted to post how far I've gone since I've been a bit discouraged. It's going on my 3rd day of eating within my calorie range and exercising again, and I wanted to give myself a push.
I'm losing weight for the National Guard, and am halfway there!
Since late August 2013, I've lost over 20lb! I'm 5'1, and lemme tell you... those extra pounds definitely showed. =_=
I knew if I hadn't started then, I could be close to 200 by now with how bad my eating habits were. I just exercised my butt off, drank a ton of water, and ate 1400-1500 calories a day. I didn't always eat clean, but I stayed within my calorie range. That was until November, when I pretty much logged like crap and ate around maintenance. I kicked myself in the butt again and started telling myself "No you can't have that right now =p" and I'm so much happier counting calories and not telling myself "Oh you can eat crap today, you'll fix it tomorrow." Pfffffffft.
Just a bit of background before I post the pictures (feel free to skip). I grew up a pretty overweight child and really knew nothing about nutrition. I wanted that donut? I ate it. I wanted 5 packages of said donut? Yeah, I ate that, too. The weight didn't really come off until I lost my Mom the summer before my 8th grade. I wouldn't eat much so the weight just kinda came off. I was still a bit chubby around 140, but it evened out as I progressed into puberty. I was fairly active in high school: dance, ROTC, PE classes... that helped me to maintain, and I just ate what I wanted.
The weight crept up on me a couple years back when I started dating my still boyfriend. I just ate so much and didn't do any exercise except what my ROTC unit did. I was in the process of signing to join the Guard, but didn't get to because I ballooned up to 150, and the split ops deadline passed. -__- Being stupid, I didn't try and lose the weight over the summer and went up to about 170. I finally got a grip on myself and am here now! I actually fit my one pair of my jeans from the years I did dance. o_o
Okay, okay. You've waited long enough~

I really wish I would have taken actual before and after pictures instead of random selfies. Tomorrow I plan to that way I at least know how much I've changed.
