Getting to know the MFP site

Hi i'm new to this so lots of you may already be doing this on a daily basis, but i've found it really useful to search and log my food diary as i am eating it. It not only helps me eat slower but also means i dont miss any foods out! I am a young hearted granny that has tried to lose weight for years, but since finding this site i am feeling more positive......i havent got any friends yet as not sure how that happens but heres hoping.
