I do both. I typically prelog dinner if I know what I'm going to have, so I can see what to get for lunch and snacks. I have to adjust a lot though, I never eat exactly the amount I prelogged anyway.

I prelog as much as I can with a little wiggle room for extras. Not every day lends itself to prelogging, but I tend to be pretty consistent most days, so I prelog those.

I do a bit of both, mostly as I go though. I dont go over as I only ever buy good stuff so I know I'm good to go :) When I prelog it tends to be when I've made a big batch of something as breakfasts/lunches tend to be similar most days. :)

I generally do both - pre-log the upcoming day, and then log any deviations from the plan that come up.

Keeping pre-logs and actual fridge/pantry supplies in sync is pretty important for me to stay on track.

I prelog and then make necessary changes during the day. Prelogging lets me better gauge if having a treat in the middle of the day works that day.

i do both too. I typically log the first 600-900 calories as I go, and then start to preplan for the rest of the day/night to make sure I am going to come close to my macro goals.

    I do both.

When I feel like I'm eating over my calories too often, I'll go back to pre-logging my food each morning to keep myself on track. Even after doing this for over 15 months it shocks me how easily I can slide back to my old overeating ways when I'm not careful.

I dont log at all bcause I do weekly meal prep and therefore it would simply be a waste of my time to continuously log the same meal plans and even when I do the anlysis on my meal plans I dont use this site this site is just...amuzing to me

I prelog the night before for a weekday. Weekends tend to be a bit more log as I go.

I am similar-I pre log on work days -especially breakfast, lunch and snacks. On my off days I tend to log as I go.

I Prelog when I complete my diary for the day, I Prelog for the next day to give me a starting point. It also ensures that I make better choices about my food). If I change anything during the day I log it as I go. (If that makes sense).

When I am working I attempt to pre-log so I have an idea of how much I can eat at my work's "buffet" and then after I eat I adjust a mounts to reflect how much I ate.

I usually pre-log the night before, but most of the time I change something...and sometimes, I change almost everything. Having meals/snacks planned before can help me make adjustments on the go based on what I'm in the mood for...i.e. if I don't want that sandwich for lunch I need a higher protein snack to meet my protein goal...etc.
  • I prelog. Sometimes, like now, I prelog a few days in advance. It allows me to know what I'll be eating. Also I prelog depending on excercises i have planned that week.

I will pre log one day but make weight adjustment throughout the day, I tend to only log one day in 3 though, because I will eat the same foods for a few days straight, batch cooking packs of meats etc and I don't see the point of having 3/4 days of the same logs

I do some of both, although most of my prelogging is really reminders to myself of things I need to eat (so they won't spoil) or things I want to make. Occasionally when I know I'm going to a restaurant that has its nutrition information online, I'll look at that before I go, but I don't usually log it until after because I might change my mind. I generally find that if I eat a lot early in the day (for lunch or breakfast), I'm not that hungry later for dinner, and if I eat less early in the day, I'm hungry for all those unused calories later, so it all works out. Also, I don't care about being right at goal every day, just averaging roughly around my calorie goal over the course of a week.

I pre-log anywhere from zero things to all the things.... but I usually tweak and change things throughout the day and I typically leave a few hundred calories in case something delicious happens.

I always pre-log the night before and adjust accordingly to any changes the following day. It helps me make sure I hit my macros.

I log as I go! I'm not very good at prelogging because I change my mind a lot but I usually have a pretty good idea of what I'll be eating based on my schedule for the day so that helps me stay under :)
