Hey there. My name is Joey. I've been working on losing weight for a few months now. I'm focusing on just letting it happen as naturally as possible with subtle shifts in my behavior - I think that personally it will be a better way to keep the weight off. I start school soon and will have access to a gym, and plan on starting an exercise regimen there. As for my diet, I've already made a few important changes - recognizing when I am truly hungry, eating proper amounts, and cutting out soda. I drink mostly water, with some milk, usually soy or almond milk. Due to these changes alone I've gone from 289 pounds to 261 pounds, which i'm pretty excited about. I'm not sure how long it will take me to get to around 180 pounds, but that's my goal!
Anyhow, I don't really have anyone to lose weight with, and I've heard countless times that it's an easier process if you're not alone. So I joined to keep myself organized, and hopefully make some friends along the way!
