Hi all

I've only been here a week so just checking, but have just come across a comment that says that your calorie allowance is NOT adjusted down when you lose pounds??

I know that as you lose weight, you require less calories per day.

So do we have to manually adjust this then?

Thanks

Anna

No. As long as you 'check in' and log your loss, MFP will adjust your calories every 10 pounds of loss.

Actually mine doesn't adjust even though it "says" it does. I find I have to go in and manually change it.

It's true. You have to go in and "update your diet/fitness profile" under your "settings." Not difficult to do, but good to know. MFP will remind you to do it every 10 pounds if you don't do it sooner, though.

Perhaps this is a recently added feature then. Hooray!

Last time mine asked if I wanted to adjust my goals. I said no. Happy where I am right now.

    Mine updated automaticly.

Many times my thoughts have gone like this: "Allright! Logging two more pounds....20 less calories! WTH?"
