    Hi...I'm in the same boat. I've been participating in a couch to race day program, we haven't ran much, the focus has been on strength training so that we're strong enoug to be able to run. We've ran indoors a couple of times. I hit the pavement/trail for the first time in a loooooong time yesterday...I walked/jogged for 45 mins and manged to do just below 3 miles, I finished the hour off with a cool down of walking stairs and then cleaned my yard.

    40 year old mother, wife, student, with full time job. Also a beginning runner. On week 2 of training for a half marathon! I'm doing a walking/running combination. Would love to be able to run the whole thing, but only time will tell!
