Shakeology without a nutrition plan?

Ok so im just finishing up my first round of insanity and i should be getting Shakeology in the mail any day now and will be starting p90x. My problem is that i only have the dvds for p90x and nothing else. So does anybody know if Shakeology needs to work with the nutrition guide or can i use it with my reduced calorie diet?

    The question should be "why am I using Shakeology?" For replacing a meal? If so, am I going to do that for the rest of my life? If not, then what will you be substituting in it's place? And if you've got that figured out, then why do you need Shakeology?
