too much that you
a) crap yourself
b) feel like your heart is gonna pop out of your chest
c) a + b0 -
Depends how strong you brew it, but I think 3 cups is a good average. 4-5 for weak coffee, 2 for very strong coffee.0

Im at 3 to 4 a day with a strong brew but sometimes I can tell when I drink too much because Ill start becoming very Anstey0

I honestly KNOW I drink way too much coffee....but eh, no biggie. if you aren't adding tons of calories into your coffee you're fine, and if you do, make sure those calories fit into your daily calorie goal.
otherwise, I say, enjoy0 -

If you want you can try replacing one or two cups a day with Yerba Mate tea. It smells and tastes like coffee (minus the jitters)0 -
Stop when you feel heart palpitations...0

Antsy feeling is due to an increased heart rate .... Refer to b) on my first reply. Don't brew it as strong. Really shouldn't be an issue unless you have cardiac problems especially hypertension.0 -
What do you mean by "too much coffee"?
I don't get the question.0 -

I don't get the question.
This.
I typically drink 32 oz of strong Espresso just to get my day started every morning, and 20oz of iced black coffee for a "pick me up" in the afternoons.
Edited to remove my use of the word "Spanish" as the brand of coffee is not literally from Spain. :flowerforyou:0 -

Basically, if you can do this, you may want to reduce your coffee intake: http://youtu.be/C9Ef0ErCU1c
Seriously, though, I love coffee but don't do a lot of caffeine, so I have a cup of regular in the AM, then have multiple cups of decaf throughout the day. Probably a total of 48 oz or so (guess based on the number of "cups" the coffee maker lists, assuming each one is 6 oz).0 -
favorite part of my day is waking up and turning on the coffee maker. the aroma and then the joy of drinking my coffee first thing in the morning is nothing i will ever give up . i drink what i want and my body usually tells me it dont want anymore when ive had my limit. it could be from two cups to a pot before i stop.0

No such thing as too much coffee! On a slow day I drink 2 pots of coffee.0
-
I generally have a cup in hand from about 6:30 a.m. and off and on until around 4:00 p.m.
I stop when the shakes start.0 -
I drink 5 cups per day, sometimes more! It's the only beverage I like to drink! LOL0

If your getting the right nutrition and exercise. You don't need it. Your energy levels should be through the roof. Pure water.0

Yes it has been proven time and time again!
I love my coffee! It's an odd day if I've only had one cup! I don't drink it for the energy- I just love it! 3 cups to a full pot depending on the day!0 -
