Hiya
I was wondering if anyone has seen any solid data which would allow me to calculate the calories I burn running cross country. I am starting to do a lot of it and I am pretty convinced I burn (perhaps a lot) more calories going up and down muddy hills than running down a road. I can't find any data about this though.
Cheers
Dave

The only way to really do it accurately is by heart rate monitor.0

There is data on this in the excersise database on MFP. Look under Skiing, cross country, then choose what you think your excersion level is. But, like fatdoob said, a HRM is more accurate.0
