Probably a really stupid question, but I noticed once i logged in my dancing exercise, MFP added about 130 calories to my allowance for the day. So...in beginning of day it said 1240 calories, but then increased over the day when I recorded exercise. I'm actually really excited, because boy am I hungry . This is my first day logging in diet and exercise with this program. I hope I'm doing this right. I set my goal weight and what I want to lose per week, and MFP adjust calorie I.take for me according.g to the food and exercise I record? I thought I would have to stay at a certain amount if calories no matter what.

Yes, MPF is set up to allow you to eat back some or all of your exercise calories.0

Yes, if you are set at sedentary or lightly active, you eat your exercise calories back. Just make sure you are not overestimating he amount of calories burned during exercise. I used a heart rate monitor (HRM) to be safe?0

Yep, MFP is set up to net your alloted calories, so more exercise = more food. However, I found 1200 too low for me and so I have actually net 1550, myself. I highly recommend reading this, if you haven't seen it. It really helped me along the way
