Hi, all: I have recently had surgery and the recovery is taking longer than I thought. Any tips on how to stay on program as I continue to recover? I feel like it has set me back a bit.

I kept at it as best as I could. I ate at maintenance or at a deficit, this was most important to prevent gaining my weight back. I did what I could, literally any exercise I was capable of, ie. washing dishes, walking or running, squats, isolation exercises, just anything. I was inconsistent but kept at it anyway. I also had days where I just noticed the sun and reminded myself of what I had to be grateful for. There were times when I felt like hibernating and being depressed, but the above strategies got me through. Good luck to you!:)0
