Food Triggers

Some foods are "red light" foods for me. For example, Peanut butter. I can't just have 1 tablespoon, I always want more.
The same with assorted nuts. Although highly nutritious, it's difficult for me to stop putting my hand in the container and taking more.
Carbs are that way too. If I eat bread, or rice cakes or crackers I always want more. Ice cream? I can eat a full pint with ease if I had it in the house. So, I don't keep it in the house. Sweets, chocolate, cookies, cake they are off limits to me except on special occasions. It's not that I am depriving myself from them, if I have them in the house they will disappear.
In fact, the more I think about it, so many foods for me are red light foods. I eat them and want more. It's like it's calling my name.
Does anyone else have those triggers and what are your suggestions for controlling and dealing with them?
