    Do you mean:

    1. Movements traditionally referred to as "cleans," ei hang cleans, power cleans, clean-and-jerk(not nearly as dirty as it sounds), etc.?
    2. Lifting the weight cleanly, with proper form, technique, and without urinating on yourself?
    3. Lifting only unprocessed plates, dumbbells, and bars that have only natural, organic origins?
    4. Lifting weights that have previously been sterilized and sanitized so as to minimize your exposure to germs, bacteria, or midichlorians?

It's different for everyone, but I think number 3 for me, personally.

Your gym must be awesome. I'm lucky to see someone wipe down a sweaty machine once in a while.

I only lift before 7. If you lift after you get bulky.

You left out lifting only after showering and putting on clean workout clothing.

I prefer to shower after I lift with as much as I sweat.

I do not lift clean and place. I play the ball as it lies.

I lift in full makeup, heels and a poodle skirt. I clean up rather nicely.

    And don't forget the gloves!

I prefer to start every year off with a weight cleanse... I lift only jugs of lemon water for three weeks. Gets everything flowing right and jump starts my lifting.
