Adding another workout to my day?? Questions??

I want to add another workout to my day. How can I do that without going on a plateau? I need a jump start, please help. So the plan is to:

Am: Cardio 45 minutes, Eliptical

Pm: Cardio 20 minutes, Elipitical + 30 minutes dumbell work (arms, back, abs, and lunges)

Calories allowed per day: 1200
Calories burned 713 + 737= 1450

    Currently, I am doing 45 eliptical a day with 15 min dumbell work (5 times a week)

    So I'd be adding 20m eliptical and 30 dumbell work.
