I can't eat much before I leave for work (maybe a piece of fruit) and I eat my normal breakfast at 10:15 in the morning. I need something to eat at my desk around 8 am. Ideas? I was thinking something handy like nuts, granola bar, etc. Something without HFCS is preferred.. but not mandatory.

Fresh fruit salad (mixed fruit without any mayo or whip anything). You can buy it in a large container from the store (or make your own), divide it into smaller containers and grab one from the fridge as you head out the door. It's nice and nibbly with calories to jump-start your brain without making you feel heavy.

Apple slices, segmented orange or grapefruit, string cheese, boiled peeled egg, nuts/raisin mix, baby carrots... lots of stuff!
