Eating after working out..pain?

I have been waiting to eat until I get back from the gym since I go first thing when I wake up. After I eat though my stomach starts to hurt. Does anyone else have this problem? I am guessing I should probably eat something small before I go workout and then maybe wait a little longer after the gym to eat again? I am not sure and would love some input from more experienced gym goers.

:) I am not eating a very heavy meal right after either.

    i guess it all depends on why your stomach stats to hurt.

    it could be anything really. maybe you're eating too fast, maybe you need to poo.
    i train fasted and dont have any issues

    lol no its not the need to poo. :) I think maybe its because my stomach was empty while working out. maybe I just have a weird stomach.

    Truth, every time I've tried trainnig first thing in the morning before eating, I've spent 10 minutes dry heaving for it.

    Of course every time I've tried training first thing in the morning after eating (even something small), I've spent 10 minutes throwing it back up.

    My lesson was don't work out first thing in the morning. Unfortunately, this is just going to boil down to trial and error until you can isolate what it is that is causing the stomach pain.
