Part of the problem is muscle separation which I know. Are there any exercises out there to help with that?

Google is your friend and YouTube as well. You need to consider the degree of separation because you can hurt yourself. I would focus more on exercises to correct that issue before moving on. The rehab is boring and tedious but honestly, if the muscle platform isn't sound enough you won't get the results you are after anyway or not as easily and quickly.

I have no idea of course in your particular case but four c sections, in the best circumstance is traumatic. How much weight you gained with each pregnancy is also a contributor so it really is person specific.

I've had 2 c/sections, but my problem is the muscle separation. I have a lovely 5cm split, and I'm only 4'10, so its pretty big.

I need to be a little more careful and all the cardio and crunches in the world will not fix a separation ;)

However, I have found that weights have helped me an awful lot more than any cardio in my core section. Eventually I may have to get the centre muscles surgically fixed, but in the mean time the muscles on either side are seriously awesome. And I'm only lifting light at the moment.

Yep. I've found compound exercises to be the best not only in general but because everything is worked without overworking the lower abs.

Thanks for the advise. I only gained between 20-25lbs with each pregnancy and lost all of my pregnancy weight within 3 weeks after with all 4 pregnancies. I'll Google some exercises. Thanks again.
