New to MFP day 5

Hello, I am very new to MFP. I am currently on day 5. I have always been on and off diets. Never really stuck to one. I have always thought if I worked out I did not need to diet. I know now that you need to monitor portion sizes as well as eating healthy along with working out to have success in weight loss. So I am here to lose this weight with a new mindset for a new start. So far I love MFP due to the portion control (which I have never done before) and the traking of calories burned for daily exercises. I could really use support and some friends that I can get some meal ideas and recipes. I love to cook and trying new ideas for cooking food. :smile:
