Newbie Paleo Question

I've heard so many amazing things about eating primal so I'm trying it out. I started on the 1st (original right?!) and the first few days I was thrilled, thought it was the easiest diet ever and was on top of the world. Like so many people have warned though, Day 5 sure enough brought sugar cravings which are manageable but if they get increasingly worse I may go crazy. I've been told this happens, and that it gets much better if you stick with it. Did anyone else experience this and for how long?

    I did this diet for a while and it is fantastic wish i could do it now but its worked out to expensive for me.
    but the way i got through the craving was I snacked on fruit and nuts and i had to find activities to get my mind of them like puzzles exercise and crafts. you will get through it mine only lasted about a week

    Did anyone else experience this and for how long?

    I did low carb "paleo" for a year - the cravings NEVER went away.

    It was miserable.
