Krispie Kreme sucks. To prove it, they put one up here 5-6 years ago and it probably closed a year or two after it opened.

Oh, and the genius who put it up put it across from one of the largest gyms in the area.

    Moron.

    yes. that is definitive proof.

there isn't a Krispy Kreme where I live, but stores have them delivered daily via truck... there are fundraisers that use Krispy Kreme donuts as the item to sell. And there are hundreds of stores that are open, and operating at a profit.

    but that store that closed...

(my sarcasm drips like warm glaze on a hot donut)

I cant wait to grill a krispy kreme doughnut bacon cheese burger on the grill.....soon.

    What? That sounds amazing!!

While not a fan of their donuts (not hate mail please cuz I do love donuts), it's a great ad!

Has anyone actually seen that ad displayed anywhere? It's remarkably...wordy...for a print ad.

Sometimes that works. I remember Nike ads in the 90's that were wordy:

    Oh yeah, that's true enough.

They are putting a Krispy Kreme up in my hometown... sadly, they have only just broke ground. Why do I get the feeling they are going to be slower than Christmas putting this building up?

    *sigh*

Blasphemy! Nothing beats a hot Krispy Kreme :D

I'd love it if they'd put one across the street from my gym. ;)

100% this!! Wouldn't that be an amazing post-workout treat? Fresh hot Krispy Kreme just melting in your mouth ... mmmmmm.

    Aha! I knew it...

I put it to you, Madame, that it was Colonel Mustard in the Drawing Room with the candelabra. No, wait, that's Cluedo...

I put it to you. Madame, that this is a sham, a ruse and quite possibly trickery!

    ~chuckles~

Getting struck my lightning alone is bad for you. Not ever having a Krispy Kreme, in my estimation? Neither here nor there. They are so not worth the hype.

    ^^ So much THIS!

Real doughnuts are delicious. Krispy Kreme? smh...Just no

They misspelled "realize". I would expect that from Dunkin Donuts, but not Krispy Kreme!
...That's not a misspell.. That's how UK spells it.. Both realize and realise are correct.

We, UK, don't spell it like that. I thought that was the US spelling.
So, you're telling me you from the UK don't spell it "realise"?
    Really?

I didn't know they had them in the UK. The more you know...

    One of these you mean?

    It was truly magnificent.

And for the clean eaters - don't worry. It was grass fed beef and I made the patty myself.

Krispy Kreme can go straight to hell (because the jerks closed their store in my area).

Krispy Kreme is fantastic. I used to stop and get a dozen for my nursing unit on Saturdays if the 'hot donuts now' sign was on when I drove past.
I had to stop when Pauly became diabetic.
    NOT MY FAULT.

Just popping by to say: yes-tasty, I've eaten the donut bacon cheeseburger with egg (and almost died, that thing is nasty and gross....but somehow still worth doing it once in your life). Weight Watchers shared the same strip mall as Baskin Robbins here for YEARS as well as the same parking lot as a burger joint. Maybe it works for some places :)

Was it across the street from the biggest gym in the area?

No, and that was probably the problem. If they had put the place next to Planet Fitness it would still be open!

PF would probably negotiate a member discount.

That would be the most compelling reason to join PF. For $10 a month, I have no doubt I could get my money's worth of pizza and donuts.
