I've noticed that with an increase of protein in my diet, I've seen as increase in sodium.
What is the best way to lower sodium, but maintain 30% or more protein?

Dont eat processed foods! Processed is very high in salt. Look at the content of everything you buy! You have to be diligent at the grocery store. I eat Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones for lunch but to offset the salt I make my diner every night with no processed foods. Breakfast is always Fage 0% greek yogurt with homemade stevia hot cocoa mix (I can omit the salt). Greek yogurt is very high in protein. Whole Foods have a cottage cheese that has no salt added and is low in calories. 90 calories and 16 grams of protein for a half cup! AWESOME!!! Just look and you will find. Good luck!0

Cook as much as possible from scratch.0

You pretty much have to cook your own meats for the majority of your protein...most processed meats and dairy are way too high to fit except in small quantities. You can also look to see what other non-protein foods you might consider cutting down on to give you more wiggle room with your sodium...bread, olives, canned foods, and certain condiments were big offenders in my food diary.0

Are there low sodium jerkys out there? I found a great low sodium cottage cheese I like. I don't do bread often, and while I love black olives, I don't eat those often either.0
