Short Term Goals

As someone who has a significant amour of weight to lose (about 40-45 lbs), I need to set some short term goals for myself or I'm going to drive myself crazy. So, these are what I have so far…. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

1. Get my BMI out of the obese range (I need to lose 4.5 more lbs for this)
2. Celebrate every 10 lb weight loss by treating myself (manicure, haircut, etc.)
3. Beat my brother in our weight loss bet, haha. First to lose 15% of their body weight wins
4. When I reach my goal weight, which is somewhat flexible based on how my body changes, celebrate with 2 new pairs of pants… And do NOT allow myself to outgrow them.

I'm hoping setting little goals like this will keep me from feeling overwhelmed or frustrated. Has anyone else tried something similar?

    Those are your short term goals?? Those sound like long term goals to me after 10 lb one.
