Looking for Inner Motivation to get started

I know I should eat better. I know I should exercise. I just haven't found that inner thing to keep me motivate to do both and I hoping tracking myself will help a little bit.

I recently turned 40 and have really put on weight this year. (emotional eater) But need to stop before and get things under control because I can't afford to buy new clothes. :laugh:

So I'm going to give MFP a try versus trying a fad diet or spending a bunch of money on something that I will quit or gain the weight back.
