Any advice on calve and leg workouts?

So even when I was at my thinnest I've had very shapely legs. It's where I carry most of my weight. Now that I'm on this journey I'm kind of wondering if there is a great workout I can do to decrease the size of my calves.. I would love to go out and buy a pair of boots that will fit on my big calves.. Not saying they are fat calves ( like my thighs haha) but they are very muscular and big. Any advice?

General weight loss will reduce the size of your calves. You cant spot reduce one area. I started with very chunky calves and now they look more normal. I did strength exercises like calf raises but it was the weightloss that thinned them out.

I've always had large calves too... it sure does suck for finding cute boots to fit. Even when I was skinny my calves were large, however they were much smaller than they are now. I agree that general weight loss is the best thing for reducing their size.

If you want cute boots that fit, you may have to take them to a cobbler and have them stretch them for you. Works best on real leather boots. I have big calves too, but they are all muscle. I actually get compliments on them. But then I get super annoyed when I buy knee high boots and they just don't zip. So I have to get them stretched.
