As a peanut butter replacement for, say, PB&J sandwiches? Hell no.

To add to shakes, or anything you just want to add the pb flavor? Pretty darn good.

Just go into it with that expectation. It most definitely lacks that fatty full robustness of real peanut butter- but it's identical flavor wise.

I agree that it can never replace peanut butter. It tastes AWFUL alone, on bread, etc.

I also agree with the statement that it's good in shakes etc to add in some peanut-buttery deliciousness when necessary for less calories. But I'd still never eat the stuff off of a spoon.

It's so-so on taste. If your using it to mix in shakes/baking its pretty good.

I use peanut butter for the Fat content for my Macro's. PB2 lacks that which kinda makes it more meh for me personally.
  • I use it for satay sauce and it's great. I've also tried it 50:50 with standard PB on bread and it's not too bad.
