I am a keto dieter.. eat the same every day bar a break when I maintain or put on at xmas.
Had some bloods back from when full in keto and my cholesterol was 6.8 which I cant explain as much of my fat consumed is olive oil...
When full in keto I lose 1 1/2 to 2 lb a week and am wondering if this fat loss processed by the body is the reason why my cholesterol was so high as I assume losing that much a week is ln effect like eating that much a week.
Do all dieters stripping fat off get high cholesterol ???
Any other thoughts on why when my diet is so clean it was that high ??

Take a look at this: http://urbanext.illinois.edu/diabetes2/subsection.cfm?SubSectionID=45
Even though you are eating mostly unsaturated fats, you are still eating a high fat diet, which can cause high blood cholesterol.
I really didn't see many days in your diary (only 2 days were logged) but both days had eggs, bacon, salmon, and steak. Chicken also has a good deal of cholesterol and some protein powders can have quite a bit actually. I have read mixed findings on the effects of dietary cholesterol on blood levels, but it is appearing that dietary cholesterol has a fairly minor effect, but can still contribute to some level.
Are you exercising? If not, getting in plenty of cardio will help raise HDL.
Also take a look at this:

It is something that I experienced to a point, that while losing weight my cholesterol didn't go down until I got down to below about 20%BF. If you think about it, "burning" fat is metabolizing your body fat. Kind of similar to eating a pound of animal fat every week. I would guess that the effects on your blood cholesterol could be partly coming from that.
I would suggest that you quit eating spoonfuls of olive oil to reduce your total fat intake and switch to a low (but healthy) fat, low carb, high protein diet and see if that helps. I'd also try to get a good part of your protein from white flaky fish and dairy (like greek yogurt) and limit the beef, bacon, and eggs.
Hope this helps. On a side, once my body composition got below about 20% my cholesterol plummeted - yours probably will too.0
