morning work out

Hello my question is about early morning workouts. I get to the gym at 5:30 and weight train at a moderate pace. High reps high sets per excercise. I am very muscular but need to loose a few inches around the middle. After an hour of weights i do about 1/2 hr on the bike or treadmill. Question is should I carb load with a high carb(31g) low sugar(1g) protein bar before my work out. I use one with 30g of protein and 6g of fat. I am on a 200-250g protein diet for muscle growth. Any thoughts or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
