What has worked for you? Advice?

Hi! I gained weight after maintaining for a long time, and after about a year have still not been able to shake off the last 10-12 pounds. I'm 5'6" and I weigh 145 on most days.

Does anyone want to share what they did and offer general advice? I love hearing about different things people have done, and I'm looking to vary what I've been doing.

I started lifting weights yesterday in addition to my usual cardio routine. Does anyone have any input on this?
